ADVANCED INORGANIC COATING TECHNOLOGY
Durable Protection Across Multiple Surfaces
TOP COAT 2.0 is engineered to create a thin, durable inorganic protective layer on compatible automotive exterior surfaces.
Its coating technology incorporates components based on:
- Silica
- Hydrocarbon technology
- Titanium
- Zirconium
- Fluorine-containing technology
Together, these technologies are designed to provide a combination of:
HYDROPHOBICITY
Strong water-repellent surface behavior.
GLOSS
Enhanced visual depth and reflectivity.
SLICKNESS
A smoother, more refined surface feel.
SURFACE PROTECTION
An additional barrier between the treated surface and everyday environmental exposure.
EASIER MAINTENANCE
Reduced contamination adhesion helps make regular cleaning more convenient.
DESIGNED AS A COATING TOPPER
Add Another Layer of Performance
TOP COAT 2.0 is designed primarily for use as a top layer over a compatible TACSYSTEM coating.
Once the underlying coating has been correctly applied and cured according to its specific instructions, TOP COAT 2.0 can be used to add another functional layer to the coating system.
This top layer helps enhance:
- Water repellency
- Surface slickness
- Gloss
- Ease of cleaning
- Contamination resistance
- Overall coating maintenance
The underlying coating provides the foundation, while TOP COAT 2.0 becomes the outer layer exposed to everyday environmental conditions.
DOUBLE-COAT SYSTEM
Base Protection + Hydrophobic Top Layer
TOP COAT 2.0 can be incorporated into a compatible double-coat system.
In this type of application:
BASE COATING
Provides the primary protective foundation and bonding layer.
TOP COAT 2.0
Creates the upper hydrophobic, glossy, and sacrificial protective layer.
This layered approach allows each product to perform a specific role within the coating system.
TOP COAT 2.0 is therefore particularly useful when the objective is to combine the characteristics of a primary TACSYSTEM coating with enhanced surface behavior from a dedicated top layer.
IMPORTANT: Always follow the curing and recoat requirements of the specific base coating before applying TOP COAT 2.0. Do not assume that every coating can be immediately layered.
SACRIFICIAL TOP-LAYER PROTECTION
The outermost layer of a vehicle coating system is continuously exposed to:
- Rain
- Road grime
- Environmental fallout
- Washing chemicals
- Mineral deposits
- Routine washing and drying
- UV exposure
- Everyday contamination
When TOP COAT 2.0 is applied over a compatible coating, it becomes an additional sacrificial layer between these environmental factors and the underlying protective coating.
This can help maintain the appearance and functional behavior of the overall coating system.
STAND-ALONE LSP
Protection Without a Base Coating
TOP COAT 2.0 does not require another ceramic coating underneath it.
It can also be applied directly to properly prepared compatible surfaces as a stand-alone LSP and protective coating.
When used independently, TOP COAT 2.0 provides:
- Hydrophobic performance
- High gloss
- Surface slickness
- Easier maintenance
- Environmental protection
- Up to 1 year of durability
This makes it suitable for users who want coating-level application characteristics without creating a more complex multi-layer coating system.
Actual durability may vary depending on surface preparation, application quality, vehicle use, washing frequency, maintenance, environmental exposure, and storage conditions.
MULTI-SURFACE PROTECTION
Paint. Plastic. Glass. Wheels.
TOP COAT 2.0 is designed for multiple compatible automotive exterior surfaces.
AUTOMOTIVE PAINT
Enhances gloss, slickness, water repellency, and overall surface protection.
EXTERIOR PLASTIC
Adds hydrophobic protection and helps maintain a clean, refined appearance on compatible exterior plastic.
AUTOMOTIVE GLASS
Creates a hydrophobic surface that encourages water to bead and move away.
When applying to glass, use a thin layer and buff completely clear to prevent streaking or residue.
WHEELS
Adds hydrophobic protection to compatible wheel finishes, helping make routine wheel cleaning and maintenance easier.
Do not apply to brake discs, brake pads, tire tread, or other friction surfaces.
HIGH GLOSS + HYDROPHOBICITY
Enhance What You See. Improve How the Surface Behaves.
TOP COAT 2.0 combines visual enhancement with functional hydrophobic performance.
The coating creates a smooth outer layer that enhances the appearance of properly prepared surfaces while changing the way water interacts with them.
HIGH GLOSS
Enhances reflectivity and creates a deeper, more refined appearance.
SLICKNESS
Produces a smooth surface feel.
HYDROPHOBICITY
Encourages water to form beads and move away from the surface.
EASIER CLEANING
Helps reduce the adhesion of everyday dirt and contamination.
