DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Always wear a protective mask and suitable gloves during application. Make sure the surface is completely clean, dry, and free of loose or embedded contamination before applying the coating.
For best results, work in a clean, well-lit, contamination-free environment with the temperature controlled below 25°C.
Working one panel at a time is recommended.
- Wrap a clean 10 × 10 cm suede applicator cloth around the supplied coating block.
- Apply an appropriate amount of QUARTZ SPARKLE PLUS to the suede applicator.
- Working one panel at a time, spread the coating evenly across the entire section to achieve complete and uniform coverage.
- Allow the coating to remain on the surface for approximately 1 minute.
- Using a fresh, clean microfiber towel, carefully level and buff the treated surface until all excess coating and visible residue have been removed.
- Inspect the surface under adequate lighting to make sure no streaks or high spots remain before proceeding to the next panel.
- Replace the suede applicator cloth and microfiber towels as necessary throughout the application process.
IMPORTANT: Temperature, humidity, panel size, and working speed can affect the coating's reaction and leveling time. Reduce the working area whenever necessary to maintain precise application and prevent high spots.
HIGH-SPOT MANAGEMENT
Uneven application or excess coating remaining on the surface may result in visible high spots.
High spots may remain noticeable for approximately 20–30 minutes after application.
If a high spot is discovered within approximately 1 hour after buffing, apply a small amount of QUARTZ SPARKLE PLUS to a fresh microfiber applicator and gently work the affected area to reactivate and level the coating.
Buff thoroughly with a fresh, clean microfiber towel and inspect the surface under adequate lighting.
RECOMMENDED SURFACE PREPARATION

Thorough preparation is essential for achieving maximum bonding, gloss, hydrophobicity, and long-term durability.
- Wash – Thoroughly wash the vehicle using TACSYSTEM Ultra Foam, Mystic Bubble, Mystic Water Repellent, or another suitable automotive shampoo.
- Iron Decontamination – Use TACSYSTEM Iron Zero or Iron Zero Foam to remove embedded iron contamination from the automotive paint and exterior surfaces.
- Paint Correction – Polish the paint as required to remove surface defects and achieve the desired level of clarity, depth, and gloss.
- Final Degreasing – After polishing, use TACSYSTEM Oil Zero to thoroughly remove polishing oils and remaining residue.
- Final Inspection – Make sure the surface is completely clean, dry, cool, and free of contamination.
- Coating Application – Once surface preparation is complete, apply QUARTZ SPARKLE PLUS according to the application instructions.
Proper decontamination, paint correction, and final degreasing help create the ideal surface for strong coating adhesion and maximum long-term performance.
OPTIONAL IR CURING
For maximum coating performance, QUARTZ SPARKLE PLUS may be cured using an IR curing lamp after application.
Recommended IR Curing:
Approximately 30 minutes per applied layer.
When applying an additional coating layer or compatible topper, allow approximately 1 hour before proceeding with the next application.
IR curing is optional and is not required for standard application.
CURING & AFTERCARE
Proper initial curing is essential for achieving the intended durability and performance of QUARTZ SPARKLE PLUS.
- Avoid exposure to water for at least 24 hours after application.
- Do not wash the vehicle for at least 7 days after application.
- Allow approximately 1 hour before applying an additional compatible layer or topper.
- During the initial curing period, minimize exposure to moisture, chemicals, and environmental contamination.
- After full curing, use appropriate maintenance-washing procedures to help preserve gloss, slickness, hydrophobicity, self-cleaning performance, and long-term coating durability.
