FEATURES
High Gloss. Strong Protection. 70% SiO₂ Technology.
TACSYSTEM QUARTZ SHINE is a high-performance ceramic coating formulated with an average of 70% silica through an SiO₂ conversion process, creating a strong and durable protective coating on automotive paint, metal, and glass surfaces.
Once applied, QUARTZ SHINE forms a transparent, glass-like protective layer that enhances surface gloss while helping protect against oxidation, water spots, acid rain, bird droppings, environmental contamination, and minor surface wear.
Its strong bonding characteristics allow the coating to adhere firmly to the treated surface, providing long-term durability and excellent chemical resistance.
With a measurable coating thickness of approximately 0.3 μm and durability of up to 2 years, QUARTZ SHINE provides a combination of outstanding gloss, chemical resistance, and UV protection for long-lasting surface care.
- Approx. 70% SiO₂ Formula – High silica content creates a strong and durable ceramic protective layer.
- Up to 2 Years of Durability – Provides long-lasting protection when properly applied and maintained.
- Approx. 0.3 μm Coating Thickness – Creates a measurable transparent protective layer over the treated surface.
- High Gloss Finish – Enhances depth, clarity, and reflectivity for a brilliant finish.
- Strong Surface Bonding – Forms a durable bond with the treated surface for lasting coating performance.
- Excellent Chemical Resistance – Helps protect against chemical and environmental contamination.
- UV Resistance – Helps reduce surface deterioration caused by prolonged UV exposure.
- Environmental Protection – Helps protect against oxidation, water spots, acid rain, bird droppings, and other environmental contaminants.
- Glass-Like Protective Layer – Creates a transparent, durable barrier over the treated surface.
- Multi-Surface Application – Suitable for compatible automotive paint, metal, and glass surfaces.
GLOSS + CHEMICAL RESISTANCE + UV PROTECTION
Three Essential Benefits in One Ceramic Coating
QUARTZ SHINE is designed to provide more than surface protection. Its high-silica formula combines three essential coating characteristics: gloss, chemical resistance, and UV resistance.
High Gloss
The transparent coating layer enhances the depth and clarity of the treated surface, creating a clean, reflective, high-gloss finish.
Chemical Resistance
Its durable coating layer helps protect the underlying surface against chemical contamination and environmental exposure, supporting long-term surface preservation.
UV Resistance
QUARTZ SHINE helps reduce the effects of prolonged UV exposure, supporting the long-term appearance and condition of treated surfaces.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Wear a protective mask and suitable gloves during application. Make sure the surface is completely clean, dry, and free of contamination before applying the coating.
For best results, work in a clean, well-lit, contamination-free environment, preferably with the temperature controlled below 25°C.
Working one panel at a time is recommended.
- Wrap a clean 10 × 10 cm suede applicator cloth around the supplied coating block.
- Apply an appropriate amount of QUARTZ SHINE to the suede applicator.
- Spread the coating evenly over one panel at a time, ensuring complete and uniform coverage.
- Allow the coating to remain on the surface for approximately 1 minute.
- Using a fresh, clean microfiber towel, thoroughly level and buff the treated area until all excess product and visible residue have been removed.
- Inspect the surface carefully under adequate lighting to make sure no streaks or high spots remain before proceeding to the next panel.
- When applying an additional layer, reduce the working area as necessary for more precise application and leveling.
IMPORTANT: Temperature, humidity, panel size, and other application conditions may affect the coating's working and leveling time. Adjust the working area and buffing time accordingly.
HIGH-SPOT MANAGEMENT
Uneven application or excess coating left on the surface may result in visible high spots, which can remain noticeable for approximately 20–30 minutes after application.
If a high spot is discovered within approximately 1 hour after buffing, apply a small amount of QUARTZ SHINE to a fresh microfiber applicator and gently work the affected area to reactivate and level the coating.
Buff thoroughly with a fresh, clean microfiber towel and inspect the finish under adequate lighting.
RECOMMENDED SURFACE PREPARATION
Proper Preparation for Maximum Bonding & Durability
For maximum coating performance, durability, and appearance, thoroughly prepare the surface before applying QUARTZ SHINE.
- Wash – Thoroughly wash the vehicle using TACSYSTEM Ultra Foam, Mystic Bubble, Mystic Water Repellent, or another suitable automotive shampoo.
- Iron Decontamination – Use TACSYSTEM Iron Zero or Iron Zero Foam to remove embedded iron contamination from the paint and exterior surfaces.
- Paint Correction – Polish the paint as required to remove surface defects and achieve the desired level of clarity and gloss.
- Final Degreasing – After polishing, use TACSYSTEM Oil Zero to thoroughly remove polishing oils and remaining residue.
- Final Inspection – Make sure the surface is completely clean, dry, cool, and free of contamination.
- Coating Application – Once surface preparation is complete, apply QUARTZ SHINE according to the application instructions.
Thorough decontamination, polishing, and degreasing help create an optimal surface for strong coating adhesion and long-term durability.
CURING & AFTERCARE
Proper initial curing is essential for achieving the intended performance of QUARTZ SHINE.
- Avoid exposure to water for at least 24 hours after application.
- Do not wash the vehicle for at least 7 days after application.
- During the initial curing period, minimize unnecessary exposure to moisture, chemicals, and environmental contamination.
- After full curing, use appropriate maintenance-washing procedures to help preserve gloss, protection, and long-term coating performance.
CAUTIONS
- Always wear a protective mask and suitable gloves during application.
- Close the bottle tightly after use and store in a cool, dry place.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- In case of skin contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
- In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
- If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately and show the product container or label to medical personnel.
