POLISH + PRIME IN ONE STEP
One Product. Multiple Detailing Functions.
Traditional paint correction and ceramic coating preparation can require multiple individual steps.
The vehicle may need to be polished, refined, cleaned of polishing oils and residues, inspected again, and then prepared for coating application.
TOTAL ONE ESSENTIAL is designed to simplify this workflow.
During polishing, its ultra-fine abrasive system refines the paint and removes light surface defects.
At the same time, its specialized resin, bonding, and SiOโ technology prepares the surface for the next stage.
The result is a process that combines:
FINE CORRECTION
Removes fine swirl marks, holograms, and light polishing defects.
FINISHING
Refines the surface for exceptional gloss, depth, and clarity.
PRIMING
Leaves a coating-compatible SiOโ primer layer on the paint.
PREPARATION
Creates a smooth, uniform surface ready for compatible TACSYSTEM Quartz Coating application.
This integrated process can significantly reduce the time required between final polishing and coating.
ULTRA-FINE ABRASIVE TECHNOLOGY
Precision Correction for the Final Finish
TOTAL ONE ESSENTIAL uses an ultra-fine abrasive system with particles approximately 0.6–1 μm in size.
These fine abrasives are designed to refine the paint at a very small scale, helping remove:
- Fine swirl marks
- Holograms
- Light polishing haze
- Fine machine-polishing marks
- Minor finishing defects
Rather than focusing on aggressive defect removal, TOTAL ONE ESSENTIAL is designed to create the highest-quality final finish possible while providing useful fine correction.
This makes it particularly effective as the final polishing stage before applying a compatible TACSYSTEM Quartz Coating.
EXTREME GLOSS & CLARITY
Reveal the True Finish of the Paint
Paint gloss is determined not only by the products applied over the surface, but also by the quality and uniformity of the paint beneath them.
Fine swirls, holograms, polishing haze, and microscopic surface irregularities scatter reflected light and reduce visual clarity.
TOTAL ONE ESSENTIAL refines these fine imperfections, helping create a smoother and more uniform surface.
As surface clarity improves, light reflects more consistently from the paint, producing greater:
- Gloss
- Depth
- Reflectivity
- Color richness
- Surface clarity
The result is a highly refined finish designed to provide an ideal foundation for premium coating application.
SiOโ QUARTZ PRIMER TECHNOLOGY
Polish the Paint. Prepare It for Quartz.
TOTAL ONE ESSENTIAL incorporates SiOโ quartz technology directly into its polishing and priming system.
After the polishing process, the product leaves behind a thin SiOโ-based primer layer together with specialized resins and bonding agents.
This layer is designed to create a compatible foundation for subsequent application of TACSYSTEM Quartz Coatings.
Instead of completely stripping the surface after final polishing, the remaining primer system becomes part of the preparation process.
This allows the detailer to move more efficiently from final paint refinement to compatible coating application.
NO CONVENTIONAL OIL ZERO PREP STEP REQUIRED
From Final Polish to Compatible Quartz Coating
With conventional polishing compounds, polishing oils and residues normally need to be removed before ceramic coating application.
This is commonly performed with a dedicated surface-preparation product such as TACSYSTEM OIL ZERO.
TOTAL ONE ESSENTIAL is specifically designed to function differently.
When used as directed before a compatible TACSYSTEM Quartz Coating, its primer resins and bonding system are intended to remain on the surface as part of the coating-preparation process.
Therefore, a conventional OIL ZERO wipe-down after TOTAL ONE ESSENTIAL is not required as part of the intended compatible TACSYSTEM coating system.
IMPORTANT: Do not automatically use an oil remover or panel wipe after TOTAL ONE ESSENTIAL unless required by the specific coating system, as doing so may remove or interfere with the intended primer layer.
For coatings outside the TACSYSTEM system, verify compatibility and preparation requirements before application.
DESIGNED FOR TACSYSTEM QUARTZ COATINGS
TOTAL ONE ESSENTIAL is an ideal final preparation step before compatible TACSYSTEM Quartz Coatings.
The system is designed to create a smooth, highly refined, coating-ready finish while providing a compatible primer foundation for the subsequent protective layer.
Recommended Workflow
1. WASH
Thoroughly wash the vehicle and remove loose contamination.
2. DECONTAMINATE
Remove iron contamination, tar, mineral deposits, and bonded contamination where necessary.
3. CORRECT
Perform heavier paint correction with an appropriate TACSYSTEM compound if significant defects are present.
4. TOTAL ONE ESSENTIAL
Refine the paint, enhance gloss, and create the SiOโ primer layer.
5. TACSYSTEM QUARTZ COATING
Apply the selected compatible Quartz Coating according to its specific application instructions.
This workflow combines final polishing and coating preparation into one efficient stage.
FINAL POLISH AFTER PAINT CORRECTION
TOTAL ONE ESSENTIAL can be used as the final refining stage after more aggressive paint correction.
After heavy or medium correction, the paint may retain fine machine marks, holograms, or light haze.
TOTAL ONE ESSENTIAL refines these remaining defects while maximizing gloss and preparing the surface for protection.
This makes it particularly useful after a heavier TACSYSTEM correction process when the final objective is ceramic coating application.
PAD SELECTION = PERFORMANCE CONTROL
The final performance of TOTAL ONE ESSENTIAL can be adjusted through pad selection and polishing technique.
Finishing Pad
Maximum gloss, clarity, and final refinement.
Light Polishing Pad
Additional correction of fine swirls and holograms while maintaining a high-quality finish.
Always select the least aggressive pad capable of achieving the desired correction.
Pad type, paint hardness, machine type, speed, pressure, working time, and surface condition will influence the final result.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
- Shake well before use.
- Make sure the paint is clean, cool, dry, and free from loose contamination.
- Always begin with a new or thoroughly cleaned polishing pad.
- Do not use a contaminated or excessively loaded pad, as trapped residue and debris can create additional surface defects.
- Apply an appropriate amount of TOTAL ONE ESSENTIAL evenly across the face of the polishing pad.
- Spread the product across the intended working section before beginning the polishing cycle.
- Polish the section using the appropriate machine speed, pad, pressure, and technique for the paint condition.
- Work the product evenly until the desired level of correction and refinement has been achieved.
- After completing the polishing cycle, allow approximately 1–2 minutes before final wipe-off.
- Remove remaining residue carefully using a clean, soft microfiber towel.
- Inspect the surface under appropriate lighting.
- Repeat where necessary to achieve the desired finish.
IMPORTANT: Do not allow the product to dry completely on the paint surface.
ROTARY + DUAL ACTION + HAND APPLICATION
TOTAL ONE ESSENTIAL can be used with:
- Rotary polishers
- Dual action polishers
- Hand applicators
For professional paint correction and maximum consistency, machine polishing is recommended.
Always keep the polishing pad clean throughout the process.
As polishing continues, paint residue, spent abrasives, and product residue accumulate inside the pad.
Excessive buildup can reduce polishing performance and may contribute to additional marring or surface defects.
Clean or replace the pad frequently for consistent results.
WORK SMALL. KEEP THE PAD CLEAN.
For the best polishing performance:
- Work in manageable sections.
- Avoid excessive product.
- Keep the polishing pad clean.
- Do not allow the pad to become heavily saturated with residue.
- Use appropriate machine speed and pressure.
