TACSYSTEM QUARTZ MAGIC PLUS is a versatile 60% SiO₂ ceramic coating designed to provide durable protection, high gloss, extreme slickness, and excellent hydrophobic performance across a wide range of automotive exterior surfaces.
Engineered for more than just automotive paint, QUARTZ MAGIC PLUS can also be applied to wheels, chrome, compatible exterior plastics, polyurethane paint protection film (PPF), and vinyl wraps.
Once applied, the coating creates a durable protective layer that enhances surface appearance and color while providing excellent resistance against UV exposure, chemicals, environmental contamination, and everyday wear.
With a measurable coating thickness of approximately 0.3 μm and durability of up to 1 year, QUARTZ MAGIC PLUS is an excellent multi-surface solution for both protection and appearance enhancement.

The coating can help deepen and refresh the appearance of compatible faded exterior trim while adding hydrophobic, UV-resistant, and heat-resistant surface protection.
PPF & Vinyl Wraps
QUARTZ MAGIC PLUS is also designed for compatible polyurethane paint protection films and vinyl wraps, providing SiO₂-based protection without limiting its application to conventional painted surfaces.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Wear a protective mask and suitable gloves during application. Make sure the surface is completely clean, dry, and free of contamination before applying the coating.
For best results, work in a clean, well-lit, contamination-free environment with the temperature controlled below 25°C.
Working one panel at a time is recommended.
- Wrap a clean 10 × 10 cm suede applicator cloth around the supplied coating block.
- Apply an appropriate amount of QUARTZ MAGIC PLUS to the suede applicator.
- Spread the coating evenly over one panel at a time, ensuring complete and uniform coverage.
- Allow the coating to remain on the surface for approximately 1 minute.
- Using a fresh, clean microfiber towel, thoroughly level and buff the treated area until all excess product and visible residue have been removed.
- Inspect the surface carefully under adequate lighting before proceeding to the next section.
- When applying an additional layer, reduce the working area as necessary to maintain proper application and leveling.
IMPORTANT: Application conditions such as temperature, humidity, panel size, and working speed may affect coating behavior. Adjust the working area whenever necessary to prevent high spots.
HIGH-SPOT MANAGEMENT
Uneven application or excess coating may create visible high spots, which can remain noticeable for approximately 20–30 minutes after application.
If a high spot is discovered within approximately 1 hour after buffing, apply a small amount of QUARTZ MAGIC PLUS to a fresh microfiber applicator and gently work the affected area to reactivate and level the coating.
Buff thoroughly with a clean microfiber towel and inspect the surface under adequate lighting.
RECOMMENDED SURFACE PREPARATION

For maximum coating performance and durability, thoroughly prepare the surface before applying QUARTZ MAGIC PLUS.
- Wash – Thoroughly wash the vehicle using TACSYSTEM Ultra Foam, Mystic Bubble, Mystic Water Repellent, or another suitable automotive shampoo.
- Iron Decontamination – Use TACSYSTEM Iron Zero or Iron Zero Foam to remove embedded iron contamination from the paint and exterior surfaces.
- Paint Correction – Polish painted surfaces to the desired level of clarity, gloss, and finish where required.
- Final Degreasing – After polishing, use TACSYSTEM Oil Zero to thoroughly remove polishing oils and remaining residue.
- Final Inspection – Make sure the surface is completely clean, dry, cool, and free of contamination.
- Coating Application – Apply QUARTZ MAGIC PLUS according to the application instructions above.
Proper preparation helps provide optimal coating adhesion, appearance, and long-term durability.
OPTIONAL IR CURING
For maximum coating performance, an IR curing lamp may be used after application.
Recommended IR Curing:
Approximately 30 minutes per applied layer.
When applying an additional layer, allow approximately 1 hour between layers.
IR curing is optional and is not required for normal application.
CURING & AFTERCARE
Proper curing is essential for achieving the best possible coating performance.
- Avoid exposure to water for at least 24 hours after application.
- Do not wash the vehicle for at least 7 days after application.
- When applying an additional layer, allow approximately 1 hour between applications.
- Avoid unnecessary exposure to moisture, chemicals, and contamination during the initial curing period.
- After full curing, use appropriate maintenance-washing procedures to help preserve gloss, slickness, hydrophobicity, and long-term coating performance.

- Close the bottle tightly after use and store in a cool, dry place.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- In case of skin contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
- In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
