MOON LIGHT is an oil-based SiO₂ coating formulated with 25% SiO₂ to deliver outstanding gloss, hydrophobic performance, and long-lasting surface protection.
Designed primarily as a topper for existing SiO₂ coatings, MOON LIGHT enhances gloss and water repellency while helping maintain the performance and appearance of the underlying coating.
It can also be used as a durable stand-alone coating, providing a slick, deep-gloss finish and a highly hydrophobic protective layer.
With SiO₂-based protection designed to last significantly longer than conventional waxes and sealants, MOON LIGHT makes regular vehicle maintenance faster and easier while keeping exterior surfaces looking clean, glossy, and well protected.

MOON LIGHT is designed to work perfectly as a topper over TACSYSTEM SiO₂ coatings, helping refresh gloss, hydrophobicity, and overall surface performance.
It can also be applied as a stand-alone protective coating for users looking for a quick and convenient way to add SiO₂ protection without a more complex coating process.
The resulting hydrophobic layer helps water roll off the surface while enhancing the depth, clarity, and gloss of automotive paint.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Wear suitable protective gloves during application. Make sure the surface is completely clean, dry, and free of contaminants before use.
Thoroughly wash and dry all exterior surfaces. Always work on cool vehicle panels away from direct sunlight.
- Apply a small amount of MOON LIGHT to a dedicated microfiber suede applicator or microfiber applicator pad.
- Work one panel at a time, spreading the product evenly across the surface.
- Allow MOON LIGHT to remain on the surface for no longer than approximately 1 minute.
- Using a clean, soft microfiber towel, thoroughly buff the treated area until all excess product and residue have been removed.
- Repeat the process one panel at a time until the desired areas are complete.
IMPORTANT: Allow MOON LIGHT to cure for at least 2 hours before exposure to water.
APPLICATOR & TOWEL CARE: Towels and applicators used with MOON LIGHT may harden as the coating cures. Handle and manage used application materials appropriately after use.
ADDITIONAL APPLICATIONS
SiO₂ Coating Topper
MOON LIGHT can be applied over existing TACSYSTEM SiO₂ coatings to refresh and enhance gloss, water repellency, and surface protection.
Drying Aid
MOON LIGHT can also be used as a drying aid when the vehicle is mostly dry, allowing you to quickly add localized protection during regular maintenance.
Exterior Trim
It can be used on compatible hard exterior trim to help darken and refresh the appearance of faded surfaces.
OPTIONAL IR CURING
For maximum performance, an IR curing lamp may be used after application.
Recommended IR Curing:
50–60°C for approximately 30 minutes
IR curing is optional and is not required for normal application.
CAUTIONS
- Close the bottle tightly after use and store in a cool, dry place.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Wear suitable protective gloves during application.
- In case of skin contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
- In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
- If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately and show the product container or label to medical personnel.
